Why does it say inactive sim

SIM 1 randomly turns to inactive without any kind of notification, which causes me to miss so many important calls. To fix you don't have to reboot your device, but rather just make any call using SIM 1, once it connects you can hang up and it becomes active again for a further unknown period of time.

I've tried removing the 2nd SIM, because the problem didn't start until I added it, but no luck. If you do not Top-Up your Skinny Mobile account for more than 12 consecutive months, the system will convert your number from an active state to an inactive state. While the SIM is in the inactive state, it can only be used for emergency calls only. The Top-Up must be a a recharge voucher which can be purchased from any major supermarket chain or petrol station. After your account has been inactive for more than 1 month, your account will expire and you will no longer be able to use your number as it will be permanently deleted from the Skinny database.

All remaining credit and balances will also expire. Before your account is marked as inactive, we will notify you three times. We'll text you at three warning points: 1-month before your account is marked for expiry, 1-week before your account expires and 1-day before your account expires.

If you wish to avoid this event and keep your number active, you will need to Top-Up at least once every months before the account expires.
